Last Sunday my neighbor and I made the hour drive up to Lansing to attend the Michigan Mountain Bike Association annual expo. There were plenty of vendors and familiar faces from the Michigan biking scene (including Frankie Andreau). It was nice to attend a bike event in the dead of winter, when you think you will never be allowed to go back on a bike outside without freezing to death. It reminds you that the other half of the Michigan year is typically NICE!

Dave Wiens was the "Keynote" speaker. He had some interesting stories to tell from his twenty-some years as one of the top US mountain bike pros. And a funny photo of Lance Armstrong after some tequila shots at the Mellow Johnny classic last summer.
